OUR FLAVORS
Honey sourced from local farms, organic Vermont maple syrup, pure vanilla extract (not artificial), dark Belgian chocolate, praline pecans, fruit from the Pacific Northwest - these are some of the ingredients that make our ice cream amazing. For extra creaminess our mix uses a custom 16% buttermilk fat base (most are 12% or 14%), and, for a truly artisan product, we make our ice cream in small batches - one 2.5 gallon tub at a time.

DownRiver Ice Cream is bounded on two sides by the Castleneck river - a tidal river that ebbs and flows through the Great Marsh. Come. Relax. Pull up an Adirondack chair or grab a seat in the pergola by the garden. Take a break from busy and enjoy ice cream the way it used to be - as old-fashioned as a skiff on the river.
